Ghega Hostel’s review.

This is what Miss Rose O.Y. wrote about her (and her boyfriend) stay at Ghega place:

“Awful! Do not stay here!”

Having finally found the hostel (it has no sign) we were surprised by the easiness to get to it from the bus station. The entrance and lift are welcoming, this unfortunately can not be said for the owner/man in office. We have never stayed anywhere where the staff have been so rude!
His dog almost attacked us and he replied rudely and said ‘do not enter the office!’ No apology.
The bathroom was filthy and had aggressive signs everywhere. The double bed was not a double, just two singles pushed together with pillows in the middle. So uncomfortable! The black out blinds did not work and the walls are paper thin, so a bad nights sleep should be expected!
Although the good price could make it appealing it is not worth the saving in money. Despite refusing to give us a refund we still left a day early as the man ruined the atmosphere and made us feel so unwelcome. It really is a shame as the hostel had the potential to be quite nice but the outdated decor, dirtiness and the awful staff made in intolerable. We would not recommend. In fact we would definitely recommend not staying here. Pay the extra and enjoy your stay in Trieste!

Answer:
Don’t travel around the world if you are angry or frustrated of your life, stay at home and enjoy  your tv-set.

1-Having finally found the hostel (it has no sign) we were surprised by the easiness to get to it from the bus station.

You are not able to read italian, we suppose!

2-The entrance and lift are welcoming, this unfortunately can not be said for the owner/man in office. We have never stayed anywhere where the staff have been so rude!
His dog almost attacked us and he replied rudely and said ‘do not enter the office!’ No apology.

We haven’t ever met a so clever couple of clients, trying to enter suddenly our office, where a dog was sleeping, behaving as attacking us! The couple step over the desk, the dog hosted here reacted to protect himself and us. So, dear Rose you had to apologize, because you were entering our house. We heard some stories about british people who really like pets: it is a cliché!

3-The bathroom was filthy and had aggressive signs everywhere. The double bed was not a double, just two singles pushed together with pillows in the middle. So uncomfortable! The black out blinds did not work and the walls are paper thin, so a bad nights sleep should be expected!

This is true fake! Nothing to say or to add! Pure revenge, Rose.

4-Although the good price could make it appealing it is not worth the saving in money. Refunds are given according to our cancellation policy and you know it, madame.
Yes Rose, of course, if you are starving, don’t come here trying to get our money. How could you say? It is not fair…..
